Tubod, Lanao del Norte — Lanao del Norte by Bishop Elenito Galido, DD of the Diocese of Iligan is scheduled to install Rev. Fr. Enrique “King” Lacostales as Canon Lawyer at 9 am, Saturday at San Isidro Labrador Parish, here.
Fr. Lacostales was the former chancellor, former Pastoral Director of the Diocese of Iligan and former parish priest of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in Iligan City. He is also the Canon Lawyer of the Diocese of Iligan.
On July 1, Fr. Lacostales was assigned as the new parish priest of San Isidro Labrador Parish in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Immediately, he instituted changes in the parish. He introduced new changes specially in the finance system. He introduced the three-bank book system in the parish (general fund, pastoral fund, and construction fund).
During his pastoral visit last year, Bishop Galido advised the parish committee of finance head Neneng Tongol Pimentel to change the finance system from one account to at least two other accounts one for the general fund and other one the construction fund but to no positive response.
Meanwhile, Bishop Galido confirmed the Dipolog-Ozamiz-Pagadian-Iligan-Marawi Core Family and Life Ministry meeting on Sept. 16 in Sto. Niño Parish, Barangay Lanipao, Lala town. (lpb)
