Iligan City — “Bring it on, mayor.”
Thus said Dr. Charles Marquez over the weekend in response Mayor Celso Regencia’s dare that he is suing Marquez for libel. This is in the wake of reports that he has accused the mayor of being a “drug protector” in a Facebook post.
Marquez confirmed the post and proceeded to make some clarifications on the matter saying that Regencia had endorsed the candidacy of Antonio Quiros “Soye” Anduyan in the barangay officials elections this May.
Earlier this July 21, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Lanao del Norte Special Enforcement Team arrested Anduyan.
It was reported that Anduyan was in PDEA’s list as the “second biggest target” in this city.
