Iligan City — The city’s head of the Public Services Division now is retired Police Col. Leony Roy Ga.
This was revealed yesterday by Bringly Menang, spokesperson at city hall, adding that said person is serving “voluntarily.”
To recall, Ga was the candidate for representative of the lone district of the city during the elections last May. He lost to incumbent Frederick Siao for the post. After the elections when the results were known, a visibly irked Mayor Celso Regencia who himself was elected for the third time along with eight of this city council bets refused the reconciliation gesture of Siao and in the process too lashed at the purok presidents of the city.
Earlier too, Regencia also said that he was going to hire Dr. Belinda Lim and Renato Ancis as “consultants” after one year. The two councilors also ran under his ticket.
