“There’s no truth to the stories circulating that there’s a P10 entrance fee,” Tamula said, adding that the amount may as well be used in enjoying the rides at the park.

The Diyandi Fiesta Park, commonly referred to also as “Mugna” as this was then called some fiestas ago, is located at the grounds of the still to be constructed KCC mall at Tibanga, this city.

Meanwhile, Councilor Ian Uy, the Sangguniang Panlungsod’s Committee on Peace and Order said the city council has already approved City Mayor Celso Regencia’s request that curfew would be suspended during the fiesta season.

In its session last week, the body approved that curfew be suspended beginning Sept. 1 to Oct. 15. For minors, however, the curfew will still be observed from 10:00 pm until 4:00 in the morning.

The annual city fiesta here has both religious and city tourism activities. The city’s patron saint is St. Michael, the Archangel. Fiesta days are Sept. 28 and 29 every year but begins Sept. 1, there are several activities already and tourists are expected to come and enjoy them.
