Remember that small Italian diner serving delicious pizza and pastas along Don Apolinar Velez- Hayes St., in downtown CDO? Well you’ll be glad to know it’s no longer small. J2J Café & Restaurant has recently acquired a bigger space to accommodate its growing costumers.

Last December 9, 2018 J2J unveiled its newest dining area during its soft opening it has  a more rustic Filipino inspired interior with a twist of Italian flavor thrown in the mix. You still get the same experience and the same flavorful pizzas, pastas and other Filipino dishes that remains affordable without compromising the taste.

Among its best sellers are Spaghetti Pomodoro, Spaghetti Marinara, Pizza Bolognese and Classic Pizza Margarita. They also have special combo meals and wines.

“We would like to highlight that we not only serve Italian dishes, but also Filipino favorites as well such as our signature Pancit Chicken served with lemonade,” he said.

Owned and managed by John Eduard Quintano, Jr. and Jeigfred Pakino; the latter assure its growing patrons that they would continue serving the best food at an affordable rate.

Regarding the design of the interior Jeigfred said he intended to have a rustic Filipino interior to balance the Italian side of J2J (Eduardo Diego) which his partner John Eduard Quintano manages.

After the soft opening Jeigfred revealed they are planning to put a live entertainment after their soft opening is over.

“We are planning to have a jazz or acoustic night here soon, once we finalized everything, we want to offer our customers a place where they can chat with one another, relax after a day’s hard work and enjoy our services and food at the same time,” Jeigfred  Pakino said.
