Iligan City — A jitney, owned by Felicidad Cabahug and driven by Romil Canoy, collided with an elf van, registered to Noel de Castro and driven by Joseph Cuario on Tuesday in Buru-un, here.
The passengers of both vehicles were thrown out of their seats because of the impact of the collision.
Authorities identified the victims as Rebecca Tangal 48, from Tongo Buru-un, Emma Paculba, 51, Trinidad Enad, 59, Orlando Dagtan 37, and Agripina Tangal 77.
All victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. (Nora Soriño and Sita Asequia)
