One of the highlights of the Kaamulan festival was the Kaamulan Motocross. It was held in Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last October 28, 2015. Moreover, it was also a national event, the participants came from different parts of the country as far as Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, etc.
The event was huge, it had 14 categories for the participants/racers to choose from. The categories were Underbone Stock, Mini Class 85cc, Executive C, Intermediate Open, Ladies, Veterans, 65cc, Novice Open, Expert Open, Pewe 50cc, Executive B, Underbone Open, Power Enduro and Pro Open.
Even the location was good, the enclosed racing circuit was filled with obstacles, tabletops and ramps with different degrees of steepness that led racers soaring through the air. Glenn Aguilar a 15th time motocross champion in the Philippines said “The track was really good. Especially the kind of soil they use here in Kaamulan. It’s like a garden soil, we experienced a good traction for the haze, we really just had to water the track from time to time. The track is designed safely for everybody. So, all the riders were able to enjoy the event. It’s not actually about winning or losing, it’s about how we celebrate the Kaamulan festival.”
