KARIMADON, Manila’s most affordable luxury clothing line for women recently opened its first standalone store in Mindanao at SM CDO Downtown Premier last August 5. The opening was graced by Karimadon founder Josie Go, along with its Head Fashion Designer Embi Nicolas and Manila’s Best Dressed – Cory Navarro.
The opening kicked off with a ribbon-cutting led by branch owners Neil Makasiar with wife Camille and business partner Valentine Navarro with Josie Go, Embi Nicolas, Corry Navarro and was joined by SM CDO Downtown Premier Assistant Mall Manager Lloyd Ceballos.

Karimadon is owned and managed by a family corporation led by Josie Go in 1980, Karimadon is an exciting and dynamic fashion brand of ready-to-wear women’s apparel. Offering a range of classic and fashionable gowns and dresses to trendy and stylish casual and workwear attire at affordable price points.
The brand is also well-known for its couture (sewing) quality special occasion dresses and gowns as well as its bespoke (tailor-made) custom clothing program.
Karimadon emphasizes the proper fit, strives for quality of the fabric, construction, and finishing, and creates pieces that are always fashionable regardless of the occasion.
According to its head fashion designer Embi Nicolas, the company aims to make every dress fits perfectly, that all women can depend on it to make them feel special, confident, stylish and beautiful where they go.
Adding that “All Karimadon pieces are proudly designed manufactured and sold in the Philippines and is also available in major stores and malls in Canada and Indonesia.”
During its, opening Karimadon conducted a mini-fashion show showcasing its various pieces inside its store led by Cory Navarro with kagay-anon bloggers/vloggers serving as models.
For his part, Neil Makasiar said “Cagayan de Oro is growing fast, not just in terms of economics, but it is also becoming a hot spot for fashion trends in Mindanao. So we [Camille and Valentine] decided to open this store here in CDO without hesitation in the hopes of adding more offerings such as Karimadon to the growing fashion industry.”
