Col. Alex Aduca, commander of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion, identified the victim as Clarissa Belisario, owner of a Caltex gasoline station  in the Lanao del Norte town.

Aduca said Belisario was snatched at around 5 am at the Linamon  town proper near her gasoline station.

He said authorities were looking into license plate number ABC-5340 on a white Mitsubishi Montero. Another vehicle, used by the suspects, had no license plates.

Police theorized that the businesswoman was brought towards Balo-i or Pantar or Matunggao in Lanao del Norte.

Aduca said that victim could have been transferred to another vehicle.
