Lanz Pizza opens in Balingasag

Filipino-style pizza joint Lanz Pizza finally opened its first restaurant theme branch at Prince Hypermart in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental last January 28.

The famous Cebu-based pizza parlor was founded in 2014 by Lanz Pizza Founder Albert & Lanelyn E. Antigua and has grown exponentially over the years and has already 18 branches under its belt located in Visayas and Mindanao, and continues to capture that sweet Filipino taste.

Now pizza lovers from Balingasag and neighboring towns can experience affordable and great tasting pizza without having to travel so far to have one.

Owners Dr. Arch Thor V. Ponce and Dr. Faina Marie T. Pacana brought the pizza parlor to Balingasag in the hopes that like them, who became instant fans of the Pinoy tasting pizza, the people would also come to appreciate it.

“Initially we plan to put this in Opol, a small stall type, but we wanted a restaurant type. But when we heard that Prince Hypermart in Balingasag has a vacant space we jumped in and grab the opportunity, although we are not from Balingasag or work here we opened Lanz here, because it’s a great time to invest here because its booming,” Faina said.

Lanz’ Pizza has a wide variety of flavors/toppings to choose from in fact it has over a dozen. But one pizza topples them all – their signature pizza the “Lanz”.

The Lanz Signature Pizza is compose of all the toppings of all the other 19 pizza rolled into one for only P200 (11”) and P325 (14”).

You can choose from the following pizza toppings: Bacon Lovers, Spicy Hungarian, Beef & Mushroom, Mushroom & Cheese, Vegetarian, All Ham, Pepperoni Pizza, All Cheese, S’more, Bacon Specials, Super Hawaiian, Five Meat Pizza, Chicken Garlic, Chicken Teriyaki, Tuna Garlic, Spicy Throat, Pizza, Suppreme, Choco Banana, and Sisig.

The restaurant also serves rice meals like sisig, Hungarian sausage and more.
