ILIGAN City––Authorities arrested one of the most wanted men in Region 10 and the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm) here on Sunday night.

The fugitive identified as 38-year old Alikhan Dimnatang was arrested in his home in Purok Coca-Cola, Kilumco, Barangay Tubod, this city, based on an arrest warrant issued by Judge Perla Cabrera-Faller of the regional court in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Senior Insp. Peter Rhyan Bahinting Revillas said Dimnatang was wanted for murder, frustrated murder, and attempted murder.
He fell in the hands of members of the local Crisis and Crime Action Team.

Lawyer Alex Caburnay, chief of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office here, said Dimnatang belongs to a group that has been linked to kidnappings in this city. Caburnay said Dimnatang ranked No. 1 in the NBI’s list of wanted men here. Dimnatang strongly denied the allegations.
