Through its provincial police director Senior Supt. Romaldo Bayting identified the relieved police as Chief Insp. Dominador Plaza who served as Lianga Chief of Police

Senior Insp. Charity Galvez, Police Regional Office 13 Information Office, confirmed  Plaza has been relieved by top regional and provincial police official and is currently detained at the Surigao del Sur Police Office.

The initial police report from PRO 13, however, did not state any details of the complaint but only alleged that Plaza tried to insert his sex organ to a lower ranking female police officer but failed because the PNP uniform pants of the victim were tight.

The report also alleged Plaza masturbated after failing to have sexual intercourse with the female police officer.

The same police report states that aside from administrative charges, Plaza will also have to face criminal charges after the cases were filed at the Municipal Trial Court in Lianga.

Lianga is about 150 kilometers away from this city –– the regional center of Caraga Region.
