The Land Transportation Office-10 (LTO-10) will implement and arrest traffic violators on overspeeding or reckless driving, using their newly-acquired speed guns, within the region starting today.
LTO-10 Regional Director Oscar Salcedo said they will set-up areas along the national highway to track down motorists who will violate the speed limit.
“We already had initially conduct information campaign to all motorist that we already acquired among the top caliber speed gun unit to traced overspeeding and reckless drivers. Bag-o lang kini mi-abot nga speed gun og andam na gamiton,” he said.
The newly acquired speed gun is good within 150 meters scanning and recording. The recorded violations would immediately be transmitted to the LTO-10 office and LTO central office in Manila.
He said this will give a test to all the private and public drivers not to violate any laws imposing the speed limit along the national highway and road intersections within the provincial, municipal, and city level.
