The team also conducted medical and dental services to the senior citizens in Parang, Maguindanao.

Estandarte said Maguindanao Gov. Esmael Toto Mangudadatu wanted the senior citizens in the province to feel they are not neglected by the government as some sectors wanted to promote.

“We give service to all, regardless of peoples status in life, be they persons with disability or inmates of government detention facilities, the provincial government is reaching out to them,” Estandarte said.

After the medical and dental services, the team also dispersed pecking ducks for the senior citizens livelihood project.

“It is necessary to make our seniors have something to focus on, otherwise, they will become weak and easy to get sick because of lack of exercises,” Estandarte said.

She said the services for the seniors will be done in every town in Maguindanao. There are 36 municipalities in Maguindanao. (PNA)
