December really did come so fast. I don’t know about you but for me it came so suddenly and now it left memories.

Last month was very hectic, lot of parties and activities everywhere and thank God the weather was fine last December, no major storms passed by Cagayan de Oro.

Last month Limketkai Mall celebrated a choral serenade every Sunday at the Rotunda and every time I was there I cant help but be amazed at the vocal harmonies of the choral.

Hearing these melodies really brings a relaxing feel to your soul and because it is Christmas I cant help but felt nostalgic. The choir was composed of various groups from Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High Sschool (MOGCHS) choral group, a student based Special Program for the Arts choral to the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) Bugo group, a faith based choir.

When the group started singing the mall goers cannot help but stop and listen a few minutes to the accapelas of the team.

It is also a nice initiative of the establishment to bring the spirit of Christmas to people. Maybe this is a holiday hang over but indeed the last song syndrome of December is still ringing in my ears.

The reunions and gatherings and long holidays was way too soon ended but as they say let us all get back to our usual activities and be excited to what 2019 is offering, and shed some extra pounds from the all the eatings and feasting from last month.

Talking about foods, I miss again the delicious stuffs that were prepared in all those parties last month. From sweets to salads, from gourmet foods to stuffed lechon, oh my, the stuffed lechon of Winky’s Lechon was amazing, if you want to order please visit www.facebook.com/winkyslechon. Argghh, I can’t wait again for December! Hehehhe cheers every one! Let us all celebrate 2019 with new insights and more creative activities ahead.

I’m gonna spill some teasers, there will be concerts this January, Visayas –Mindanao art exhibits, Art workshops in Summer and music camps. So many to look forward for, so see you with our Art adventures!
