Aganon’s body was originally scheduled to be airlifted via Philippine Airlines at 10:15 am yesterday. It was then rescheduled at 9:20 pm.

On Thursday, Aganon’s body was brought to the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) headquarters for a wake attended by Mayor Oscar Moreno.

After paying his last respects to his police chief, Mayor Oscar Moreno handed Aganon’s widow Reena P400 thousand as city hall’s aid and a plaque as a posthumous award for Aganon.

The body was then brought to Camp Alagar yesterday morning.

Col. Reynante Reyes, officer-in-charge of the city police, said Aganon would be laid to rest in his hometown in Nueva Ecija.

Aganon died while in a hospital this week, 13 days after he met a motorcycle accident while training at Camp Evangelista in Barangay Patag, this city. (Joey Nacalaban)
