ILIGAN City — The Army’s 49th Infantry Battalion based in Butig, Lanao del Sur has converted a former Moro Islamic Liberation Front Camp into a nature park.
In a guided tour last week, Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Edgar Allan Villanueva showed to members of Manggagawang Media ng Mindanao a nature park located in the outskirts of the sprawling Butig Plains.
He told reporters that the place used to be Camp Darul Iman one of the sub-camps of Camp Busra (Butig sa Ranao).
