MARAWI City — The Lanao Muslim Professionals Fraternity (Lamusprof) has announced the enthronement here in October, this year, of the First Bae A Romapunut of Mindanao, Sulu, and Palawan.
Lamusprof presided by Retired Police Brigadier Gen. Mongcao Angin-taopan together with the Union of Royal House of Mindanao and the Ranao Council for Peace with the support of the local government of Marawi, Mindanao State University and other Muslim entities in the Philippines organized the event.
“To be enthroned is Princess Maria Amor Torres, of We Care for Humanity, who has been working persistently for the implementation of programs to improve the quality and level of health and educational services and infrastructure in developing countries in order to improve the social and economic standards of the people, it was learned.
It was gathered that recently, Princess Amor visited Zayed Charitable Foundation in the United Arab Emirates for a possible partnership in the implementation of programs in Marawi, Lanao del Sur and the rest of Mindanao especially the immediate needs of the persons displaced by the Marawi Seige.
Lamusprof said representatives of the Zayed Charitable Foundation such as Abdulla Salem Alamen, director general office manager; Dr. Ibraheem Hasan AlZaabi, projects and programs director; and Miray Zaki, head of investments of Zayed Foundation have been invited to the grand event.
