The Provincial Police Office under the stewardship of Macala topped in the implementation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 as they bested the other police offices under PRO-10.

Macala vowed that he and his officers and men will continue the campaign to curb out all forms of criminalities in this province and “with the help and support of the Misamisnons, the Provincial Police Office will prove its worth.”

“Team MisOcc (Misamis Occidental) will do everything to prove that we are the protector and peacekeepers of Misamis Occidental and with the help and support of the (different) Local Government Units, criminality will not prosper and destroy the peace and tranquility of this province,” Macala said.

Macala’s office has jurisdiction over the 14 municipalities and three cities—Oroquieta, Ozamiz and Tangub—of this province. The PRO-10 covers the provinces of Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanaodel Norte, Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental. (PNA)
