Governor Bambi Emano’s MisOrCares program now marked its first anniversary. It was founded by the governor on July 11, 2014 to compliment the services of PhilHealth which was cut off for failure of the previous provincial government pay its due to the agency.
MisOrCares is a social program of the provincial governor, giving assistance to the needy. At present, a total of 376, 515 people have already availed the services of said project.
Maryden “Lilay” Ocot MisOrCares provincial head said the anniversary activity has started with the governor’s Night held at Marco Polo Hotel last Monday.
The provincial governor has given time for bonding to all the MisOrCares staff and partners coming from municipalities, and cities of the province it was learned.
The culmination of the celebration will be on on July 11 where a caravan will be held starting from Magsaysay in the Eastern part, and from Lugait in the Western part to the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Ocot said.
Ocot added that Gov Emano will be awarding 25 outstanding MisOrCare barangay coordinators in the entire province.
She further said there will also be indoor prizes and presentations from all the misorcares extension offices.
