The big wait is over as the twelve lovely candidates for this year’s Miss Cagayan de Oro has finally been revealed over the weekend on its official social media page.
The annual pageant is part of this city’s highlight activity during its Higalaay Festival and is spearheaded by Mags and JCI Bai Lawanen Inc. in cooperation with the city government of Cagayan de Oro and City Tourism Office.
Earlier Miss CDO organizers held a three-day screening process of candidates last May 17 to 19 at the VIP Hotel, and was officially announce on its social media page on Saturday 10 minutes pass midnight.
The crown is currently held by Mary Chris Suico of barangay Macasandig succeeding Katrina Acaylar. She was crowned on the evening of August 25, 2018 and would be turning over her crown on August 24 this year to the next queen. The line-up of events for this year’s Miss CDO has yet to be announced as of this writing.
