Tubod, Lanao del Norte – More than 100 indigent children from Brgy. Darumawang Bukana, in the coastal town Lala, this province received food packs from a generous donor who refuse to reveal his identity.
The benefactor opted to celebrate his birthday with the indigent residents of this coastal barangay instead of throwing a lavish party.
Accompanying him are some relatives from Texas, U.S.A. who also gave toys and assisted in the distribution of food packs.
“We are very grateful to our kind donor who travelled all the way to our remote barangay just to deliver his gifts and food to our people. In behalf of our community, thank you very much”, expressed Brgy. Chairman Fermin Buray.
Aside from feeding the children and some of the parents, the visiting group also led the children in some games. VNL/PIO-LDN
