After four days of hiding, a farmer who killed his brother-in-law has finally decided to surrender to the authorities on Tuesday.

Senior Insp. Jerson Estanilla, Lumbia police station commander, identified the suspect as Rogen “Odik” Dungian, 41, and a resident of sitio Guinitan, Barangay Pagalungan, this city.

Dungian allegedly stabbed and killed a certain Elizier  Angga, 55 of the same barangay last Saturday.

Estanilla said, prior to the killing, Dungian and Angga were drinking at the house of  the latter’s daughter.

Gibadlong sa suspek ang biktima nga di na magkanta kay sabaan siya. Apan gikwelyohan hinoon siya sa biktima nga suko kaayo,” Estanilla said.

Angry, Dunggian took a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim once in the chest that resulted to the death of Dunggian.

After the incident the suspect fled to a nearby mountain to hide. But after four days he decided to surrender to the barangay chairman in the area.

Estanilla said Dunggian has been in and out from city jail.
