Music and Chocolate festival at SM

SM CDO Downtown Premier made Valentine’s day for Kagay-anons even more especial by bringing in international acoustic star Stephen Speaks and YouTube sensation Sabrina serenading mall goers last February 14 at the event center.

International accoustic star Stephen Speaks.

Stephen Speaks definitely took us all down memory lane as he sang his timeless hits like Out of my League and Passenger Seat that made people’s hearts melt. Speaks has recent signed a recording deal with a Filipino music company and shared his new found love for the Philippines especially its cuisines.

Youtube sensation Sabrina.

The singer also made it memorable for his wife with the help of Kagay-anons by chanting “Happy Valentine’s day”.

The event was then concluded with a photo opt, and a meet-and-greet for Kagay-anon fans.

The event was dubbed as Love Strings an acoustic pop fest; it also featured ten acoustic bands in Cagayan de Oro competing with one another in the end three bands came out victorious. Placing third was Ground Zero, second Ablaze Acoustics, and bagging the top spot, and 20 thousand pesos cash prize was Spyglass.
