In a phone interview yesterday, Grace Albasin, mother of Myles, said their lawyers also filed for a petition to post bail on illegal gun possession charge. The illegal possession of explosives is a non-bailable charge.

Albasin said the court has set the pre-trial on the case on July 11.

Para sa seguridad sa akong anak ug iyang mga kauban, kun mahimo unta nga diri sa Dumaguete na lang tanan nga court proceedings kay naa man pud RTC diri,” Albasin said.

Albasin said she fears for the safety of her daughter and her companions amid rumors of impending prison transfer of the “Mabinay 6.” (cbc)
