Iligan City — This time it was the Nacionalista Party, otherwise known as the “blue” team who snubbed the Candidates Forum held Saturday afternoon at the plaza.
Earlier, it was revealed by Boy Decena, spokesperson of the party citing several reasons, among them, was that the invitation was received only 3 days before schedule of said forum and the candidates “could no longer adjust their schedules” as they already have previous commitments. Decena added that the police officer who gave the invitation said to them “not to state the date” in which the invitation was given to them.
They are concerned with security matters too as the plaza is an open space.
The forum was attended by the “One Iligan Party” headed by lawyer Dino Quijano who is running for mayor and lawyer Betzy Zalsos, CPA, for Vice Mayor.
Regencia’s team otherwise known as the “red team” came in full force.
