PDEA Regional Director Wilkins Villanueva identified the suspect as one Al Daud B. Cali, a former kagawad of said barangay.

It was learned that he was in the narco-list of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte which was released before the barangay elections last year and listed as No. 7 “Most Wanted” in the region.

Three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams and worth P105,000 were found by the teams who were armed with a search warrant.

Cali, however, in an emotional statement to media said the evidence against him were “all planted,” even adding that the CCTV in his house was disabled upon arrival of the teams thereby hinting that this was done by the teams too. He added he is innocent and has nothing to do with drugs.

Relative to subject’s statements on the “planting of evidence,” Villanueva said “this is an old story” adding that they had been monitoring Cali for two months.

Authorities claim the suspect is a member of the Magandia and Mapandi Gang.
