Since its inception in 2009, it has strived to simplify the wearer’s day, beautify the environment, and help it while you enjoy your pair of Native shoes.

“We are Beast Free since day one. It has been an integral part of our brand. Not a hair or hide on any animal, anywhere, has been used in creation of our product. We’ve been certified by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) as an approved vegan brand,” Native Shoes Philippines Senior Brand Executive PJ Chua said.

What makes it also very appealing other than being fashionable and versatile is that it also recycles its own product and turning it into something useful. And by 2023 it sees that Native Shoes product process would be 100% life cycle managed.

Also during the event Chua also introduced the “Remix Project” an initiative that turns your well-loved Native Shoes into something new! By collecting and recycling them and giving them new life in projects for the community.

The unique composition (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) of Native Shoes can be reground into a versatile material that is useful in the creation of seating, playground flooring, insulation and more.

During the event Primer Group executives Norgelyn Bihag and Edgar Rabino along with six mommies and their kids had a friendly game of “Bet on Your Baby”. Moms were tasked to draw fruits on their respective whiteboards without telling their kids what it is and have them find it on a pool of fruits – The first pair to complete the task won the game and a pair of Native shoes of their choosing.

The launching was also attended by executives from Centrio Mall, Kitchie Uy of Passionista, Special Project Operations Manager of the Department of Tourism Region 10, Maria Celestra Andres and was hosted by Nicole Abas-Datayan.
