“Rankings are based on last year’s sum of their scores on the three essential pillars on Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency and Infrastructure”, NCCP declares.

“We should be proud and grateful for this holistic achievement which comes out from our collaborative efforts as a Local Government Unit (LGU) that has been doing its best in implementing the substance of the said NCCP’s pillars as standard operating procedures in our respective call for public service”, graces Mayor Guingona.

NCCP’s result records that the “City of Good Luck” ranks 13th in the pillar of Government Efficiency, 28th in Economic Dynamism and 55th in Infrastructure.  “With the advent of funds from national offices for this year’s lined-up projects, our ranking on Infrastructure will definitely soar high flying towards upward direction”, calculates Mayor Guingona.

In an interview, City Director Pablio Benitez, Jr. has reiterated that similar to the 2014 result where Gingoog ranked No. 35, this city will again receive awards allotted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)   for this search.
