ILIGAN City– The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region X Conducted a post monitoring briefing with the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee- Technical Working Group (DRRMC-TWG) recently. The team inspected the TS Sendong Rehabilitation sites and recovery projects and also visited the reconstruction of the dike along Mandulog River and the Mandulog Bridge1 Rehabilitation reconstruction.
NEDA through the RDRRMC-TWD evaluation team was guided by a rating scheme developed to measure the success of the project and its issues and concern has recommended the LGU-Iligan to closely oversee the implementation of the project especially the relocation sites to fast track its accomplishment within the targeted completion time.
A letter dated May 18, 2015 signed by Engr. Leon M. Dacanay Jr, CESO III Regional Director, NEDA- 10, Vice Chairperson for Disaster Recovery and Rehabilitation, RDRRMC was sent to Acting Mayor Ruderic C. Marzo expressing their gratitude for the opportunity of providing a post monitoring briefi ng and inspection of the Bayanihan sa Iligan and flood control projects.
