Neophyte city councilors Reuben Daba, Jay Pascual and Romeo Calizo in the first district and only Maria Lourdes Gaane in the second district have perfect attendance on every regular sessions at the city council last year.

All of them got the perfect attendance during 22 sessions conducted from the month of July to December 2016.

However, second term city councilor Atty. Nadya Emano-Elipe landed on the lowest level with only 12 sessions she attended while 10 sessions were considered as her absences on every Monday regular sessions.

City Councilor Annie Daba was also tardy with only 14 sessions attended four on leave and four on official business.

Landed on the second spots on their 22 attendance with other city councilors is Vice-Mayor Joaquin Uy.

Also landed on the second spot with 21 sessions attended were City Councilor George Goking in the 1st district with City Councilors Suzette Magtajas-Daba, Dometillo Acenas and Ian Mark Nacaya. All of them were considered as veteran city councilors except to Magtajas-Daba.

Other councilors who had 20 in attendance and two absences were City Councilors Zaldy Ocon, and Edna Dahino in the first district and City Councilor Leon Gan in the second district.

Councilors who had 16 to 19 sessions attended were City Councilor Lordan Suan in the first district, Teodulfo Lao, Enrico Salcedo and Association of Barangay Council (ABC) representative Yan Lam Lim.

City Councilor Nadya Emano-Elipe in her explanation admitted that there were times that she failed to attend every Monday regular sessions because of some other things that she personally attended.

“Duna akoy kabilinggan nga dili ako maka-attend sa session but I am updated what is going on inside and what was being discussed. Naa ko’y update pirmi gikan sa akong mga kauban,” she said.
