GMA Public Affairs’ viral drama “One Hugot Away” is dropping two new offerings via the short films “Let Go Na” and “Paano Ibabalik ang Spark?”
Airing beginning this November 18, “Let Go Na” features StarStruck 6 alumna Liezel Lopez and Kapuso young actor Ralph Noriega.
In the story, Liezel is 19-year-old Karla, an online seller who just broke up with her boyfriend Francis (Ralph), 22 years old. One day, Karla is set to do her online selling through Facebook Live. Up for grabs are her pre-loved items which turn out to be gifts that Francis gave her. From coffee maker, sticky notes, grammar book—Karla is ready to sell everything, even their communal dog Frala! Is Karla really ready to let go of Francis and the memories they made together? What happens when Francis decides to go online as well in an attempt to explain his side of the story? Will there be a reconciliation or will Francis and Karla really let go of each other?
Viewers can watch the snippets of “Let Go Na” from November 18 to 21 during commercial gaps of Kapuso Movie Festival, The Gift, and Sky Castle, with the finale episode airing on November 21 during the commercial gap of Sky Castle. Netizens, on the other hand, will be able to catch the first part of the story on November 19 at 5 pm and the second part on November 22 at 12 nn via GMA Network’s Facebook (www.facebook.com/GMANetwork) and YouTube (www.youtube.com/GMANetwork) accounts.
The following week (November 25 to November 28), StarStruck 6 alumnus Prince Clemente and stage actress and vlogger Jessica Paula Dizon banner “Paano Ibabalik ang Spark?”
Thirty-four-year old Katrina (Jessica) is an insurance agent who is having problems with her husband. It seems that the spark between them is fading. She unintentionally shares her “hugot” with Tony (Prince), a 33-year-old TNVS driver during her agonizing commute along EDSA.
Katrina opens up to Tony her suspicions as to why her husband has become cold to her. Is it because of her unflattering figure? Or maybe her husband has found somebody new? It turns out Tony is not just a driver but a love doctor as well?! He gives Katrina some pieces of advice to explain to her the “stages of grief” she is going through. Katrina finds herself getting closer to Tony. But what if Tony is hiding something? And will Katrina succeed in bringing the spark back?
Viewers can catch “Paano Ibabalik ang Spark?” during commercial gaps of Kapuso Movie Festival, The Gift, and Sky Castle with the finale episode airing on November 28 during the commercial gap of Sky Castle.
