COUNCILOR Suzette Magtajas-Daba, chair of the committee on education, congratulated Cagayan de Oro City for receiving the Seal of Good Education Governance 2019 Award during the recently held Washington Sycip National Education Summit.
The Seal of Good Education Governance is awarded to a local government that effectively organizes all systems and processes in the delivery of basic education. It also represents the empowerment of local governments in making the dreams of the Filipino children come true.
Daba said she is proud to inform the public that this is the third consecutive time the city won the award.
She said the team effort and hard work of the city government and other agencies, have really paid off. (sp)
