THE undefeated Worth Boxing Council (WBC) Youth Champion Dexter Alimento is in top shape and ready to fight in a non-title bout in an undercard fight against Japanese challenger Masataka Taniguchi on October 13 at Korakuen Hall, Japan.

This after Rey Marban manager of disclosed in a message to this writer that Alimento is in top shape and ready to face the Japanese fighter in the ring on October 13 in a non-title fight which is scheduled for 8 rounds .

“Dili ni sya title fight, pero nag negotiate napod ta na kuntrahon ang world champion sa IBF na si Jose Argumedo nga usa ka Mexican,” Marban said.

Alimento 5’3 is a southpaw and is ranked 39 out of 447 in the world and number 8 out of 108 in the Philippines in the fly weight division and a resident of Cagayan de Oro with 11 victories, 0 defeat and 0 draw.

Taniguchi on the other hand, a southpaw with a record of 4 wins all via knockouts with 0 lose and 0 draw hailing from Tokyo, Japan ranked 115 out of 250 in the world and 35 out of 72 in Japan in the minimum weight division.

Meanwhile, the main event will be battled out by Philippine featherweight champion Randy Braga who is attempting to enter the world ranking by challenging OPBF featherweight champion and ranked 14th by the WBC Ryo Takenaka.

This will be Bragas first time to fight in Japan.
