City Council during its regular session Monday approved a resolution endorsing with social acceptability the establishment and operation of a 100- feet high Monopole Tower at Zone 10, Barangay Carmen by the Brigada Mass Media Corporation.
The said resolution is, however, subject to the rules and regulations provided for under the City Codified Ordinance and City Ordinance No. 9119-2004, and of other government agencies covering such operation, and submission by the Barangay Secretary of Barangay Carmen of a certification attesting that the signatories of the neighbor’s consent are actual residents of the barangay whose properties are adjoining the tower.
The project will include a one-storey building and 100 feet high antenna/tower, The Power learned.
The objective of the project is to boost and fortify the media corporation’s signal.
Based on the study conducted by the City Engineering Department, the area is technically viable and strategic for radio broadcast relay antenna or tower site elevation. (SP)
