BUTUAN CITY — Different raids conducted by Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group, Swat Team and Bayugan City Police confiscated a total of 80 grams of shabu, and arrested the suspected big-time shabu dealer where P944 thousand worth shabu was confiscated from him in a drug raid over the weekend in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur province.

In the raid on Saturday at Purok 2-B, Buri St. Barangay Taglatawan,  Bayugan City, authorities served the search warrant–dated Jan. 13 for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165)–for the house occupied by one Normala Mamao Yusop.

Barangay Kagawad Joan A. Bitos of Barangay Tag-latawan, media representative Jhungie S Librias of Hope Radio Philippines, and Justice department representative Myrna C. Dairo witnessed the raid.

Seized from the house of Yusop were 80 grams of shabu with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P944 thousand, a digital weighing scale, and several drug paraphernalia.

Yusop had a standing warrant of arrest issued in June 1, last year before Regional Trial Court Branch 7 of Judge Hector B. Salise.
