The Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro have been instrumental in bringing the Philippine American Medical Association of Georgia in Cagayan de Oro.

Last December 2017, then RC West CDO and now Assistant Governor Ms. Tina Abalos Hidalgo had a meeting with Past District Governor of Rotary Club Mr. Ruben Vegafria and the Chairman of PAMAG Dr. Samuel Torres on how to bring the whole team to Cagayan de Oro and things to raise for blessing the city of golden friendship.

After two years of preparation, the team arrived doing humanitarian services and donated an anesthesia machine at the JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH). Special thanks to the Chairman of RC West special project committee Past President Bobby Sebastian and to the whole members of RC West for extending their time and resources in making the PAMAG team accommodated during their weeklong stay. A big thank you also to Dr. Lucille Torres Romblon and family being a point person in this project and to all the volunteers of PAMAG may God bless you much.
