A series of operations by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 10) and the local police were held which led to the dismantling of several drug dens in different barangays in Tangub City, on Monday.

In a press statement, PDEA 10 Regional Director Wilkins M. Villanueva led the agency in serving three search warrants issued by Hon. Judge Silvia A. Singidas-Machacon of RTC Branch 16 in Tangub City against suspected drug personalities which resulted to their arrest and the confiscation of more than a hundred thousand of suspected shabu.

Villanueva identified the suspects as Roseller Tulba alias Zeller Tulba, 41 years old and Wendel Tare, 36 years old, both residents of Purok 3, Barangay Labuyo, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

Arrested were Rafael Go, 54 years old; Alfredo Engracia, 45 years old; Lodelyn Lomosod, 36 years old; Jerwin Fernandez, 34 years old; and a certain Lowel 15 years old, all are residents of Barangay 2, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental;

PDEA-10 operatives also arrested Verdon Rela-tivo, 29 years old and employee of Tangub City hall. He was assigned as  detailed security guard of Tangub National High School and a resident of  Purok Roses, Barangay Maloro, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

Recovered from the houses of the Roseller Tulba were forty (40) pieces of different sizes of heat sealed transparent sachets containing shabu weighing 20 grams; for Wendel Tare were nineteen (19) pieces of triangular size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 0.5 grams and several pieces of unused aluminum foil and for Rafael Go were forty-two (42) pieces of different sizes of heat sealed transparent sachets containing shabu weighing 56.0 grams.

Arrested suspects are now detained at Tangub City Jail Facility while violations of RA 9165 against the suspects were already filed at RTC Branch 16 of Tangub City.
