BUTUAN City — A 30 year old farmer in Agusan del Norte succumbed to death after two not so successful attempt to end his life through suicide after he was found hanging in a coconut tree lifeless Thursday morning in Barangay Cabayawa, Tubay, Agusan del Norte.
Tubay, Agusan del Norte Municipal Police Office records identified the victim as Ronald Lutano, 30, single and resident of Purok 4, Barangay Kabayawa, Tubay, Agusan del Norte.
Lutano’s family and neighbors found his lifeless body hanging in a not so tall coconut tree near their home in Purok 4 morning of August 13, 2015 at about 6 a.m. in the morning.
Police report revealed the victim used nylon cord and tying it around his neck to a coconut tree then jumped which caused his death.
Police claimed it was not the first time the victim committed suicide especially at times when he was drunk. (Ben Serrano)
