Pedro Camacho to lead CDO’s biggest Zumba event

International Zumba Instructor Pedro Camacho will lead this year’s biggest Zumba event dubbed Dance Revolution: Zumba for a Cause this coming October 6 at the Atrium, Limketkai Mall this city spearheaded by well-known Cagayan de Oro ZIN (Zumba International Network) instructor, Boyet Maandig with Marilou Angelo and Tonette Lajos.

This event is part of Pedro Camacho’s Philippine tour. Camacho is a world-renowned Zumba instructor and a master of his craft specializing in Zumba, Zumba Toning, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Sentao, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids & Kids Jr., Zumba Step among others. He is also a recording artist, and creates his own music used by ZIN members all-over the globe.

Aside from Camacho’s featured appearance in Cagayan de Oro for the said charity event; he is also set to visit General Santos City this coming October 5, Butuan City on 7th and then Davao City on the 12th.

In an interview with CDO-ZIN’s Boyet Maandig (organizer) his group organized this once in a lifetime event, not only to encourage Kagay-anons to join and take-up Zumba for its health benefits, but also for the benefit of children suffering from Leukemia here in the city that needs all the help it can get from the private and public sector.

“This event is organized by Cagayan de Oro ZIN for the benefit of LEUPAPO (Leukemia Patients and Parents Organization Inc.) to help kids who are suffering from Leukemia. So dili lang ni siya Zumbathlon, mainly usa ni ka charity event. Ang proceeds ani nga event will be given to LEUPAPO to help the group in their fight against cancer,” Maandig said

 The Leukemia Patients and Parents Orginization Inc., (LEUPAPO). Is a Non-Government Organization and Charity Organization founded by Reczel Clarabal in Barangay Bulua, Zone 7, this city that offers a support system for children suffering from Leukemia.

“We encourage everyone young and old to join this activity for the benefit of LEUPAPO, this coming October 6 at 1PM to 6PM. There will also be a two-hour Zumbathlon lead by our special guest Pedro Camacho, and plenty of booths and discussion on Zumba and health. For You will not only learn and enjoy during this event but also help kids who are experiencing a challenging chapter in their lives,” He concluded.
