ILIGAN City — The Anti-Drug Enforcement Team of Police Station 5 here arrested a suspected drug dealer in a buy-bust operation at 12:40 pm Monday.

Operatives of Police Station 5 led by Insp. Jasper Ian E. Pasco and Iligan-Lanao Special Enforcement Team led by Agent Davidson Aranton conducted a buy-bust operation against Cliff Ramos, 34, single, and a resident of Pruok 4 barangay Saray, this city.

According to the report the authorities were able to buy one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from the Ramos.

The report also stated they were able to confiscate three small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one pair of forceps, two P100 bills bearing serial numbers WJ492590 and HN398763, one small notebook containing empty transparent plastic sachets, and 10 folded aluminum foils.

Inventory of the confiscated items was conducted in the presence of Barangay councilor James Alburo of Saray, the report added.

Authorities said Ramos is currently detained at Police Station 5.

The police said the confiscated items were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory in Tipanoy, this city for forensic examination while charges for Violation of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared aganst Ramos.
