POLICE launched another operation in the hope of catching more suspected drug dealers following the arrest of Marian Radio “volunteer” reporter Lodymer Jagos in Carmen here in late March, the spokesman of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office said on Wednesday.

Supt. Mardy Hortillosa said this even as authorities moved the 25-year old Jagos from the Lumbia police station to the city jail where he awaits trial for possession of illegal drugs, and drug pushing, a non-bailable offense.

Hortillosa said investigators withheld details about Jagos’s March 25 arrest because of a follow-up police operation meant to arrest more suspects. But the operation yielded no results.

“Walay whitewash sa kaso ni Jagos. Duna nay follow-up operation ang atong mga police operatives mao tong wala sila mohatag sa detalyi,” he said.
