THE Commission on Population joins the nation in celebrating the 2018 Women’s Month. This year’s theme is “We Make Change for Women.”
In celebration of Women’s Month in March, the Commission on Population’s awareness campaign will focus on the rights of women. Their rights to health, education, and protection from violence and abuse ensures their chance to achieve physical, emotional and social potential and can go on to become empowered women who can support their families, communities and country.
To highlight the celebration, Popcom-10 will conduct a one-day orientation about “Katropa” for trisikad drivers at its training center from 9 am to 12 noon tomorrow.
The International Women’s Day 2018 campaign has also this theme: “#PressforProgress, more than ever, there’s a strong call to motivate and unite the whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.” (pr)
