Pet lovers and moviegoers have more reason to go to the cinema this coming October 27 as they get to enjoy and help a non-profit organization for sheltered pets at the same time.

A block screening for a cause of Sarah Geronimo’s upcoming film “Unforgettable” is slated this coming October 27, 3 PM at the SM CDO Downtown Premier, Cinema 1 and spearheaded by Popsters CDO-Iligan chapter in cooperation with various pet clubs and animal shelter organizations in the city.

“Popsters” is the official Fans Club Sarah Geronimo. The said movie would cost P400 inclusive of snacks, souvenirs & raffles.

The said block screening is for the benefit of the Animal Rescue de Kagay-an (ARK) in Barangay Bayanga is a non-profit organization that rescues stray and abused dogs and cats and giving them a place to shelter them from harm.

ARK is headed by Roiselle Sjostrom in Partnership with CDO Animal Rescue Org. CdO Spay and Neuter Campaign, Cdo FosterforCats, Paw Ever provide a venue for people to adopt sheltered pets. They also accept donations to further and maintain their cause. You never know you might see your future dog, wagging its tail.

They are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to 1. Walk 2. Clean the Kennel 3. Feed them; do not worry because their team would be happy to assist you through this process.

In Unforgettable, Sarah plays Jasmine, a young woman who takes her newfound furry friend “Happy” on a long journey to see her ailing grandmother in Baguio. Based on the trailer, the two walk an incredible distance, face all sorts of challenges and encounter many strangers along the way.

Base on the trailer, this movie is surely going to be a tearjerker.

The film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and Perci Intalan, and also stars Gina Pareno, Ara Mina, Regine Velasquez, and Kim Molina.
