A PUBLIC school teacher, who had been missing for days, was found floating in the Cagayan River in Macasandig here on Friday.
The victim was identified as 46-year-old Garry Pabillaran of Sitio Biasong, Macasandig, this city. He was a teacher in the Agusan National High School.
Pabillaran was disturbed because he suspected he had cancer — he had a boil on the right side of the neck.
“Amo to siyang gaingnon nga magpatan-aw sa iyang liog kay basin ordinaryo lang nga hubag pero murag negative gyud kaayo iyang hunahuna,” the younger Pabillaran said.
On Monday night, Liezel said Pabillaran told his sister to leave him alone because he wanted to relax. That was the last time he was seen by a relative.
The following morning, Liezel said, the teacher was no longer in his room, and they waited for him for two days before they decided to report him missing.
Pabillaran’s body was fished out of the river by residents on Friday.
