Newly-proclaimed Balingasag town mayor lawyer Alexis Quina will impose transparency and personnel accounting when he assumes office on July 1 after he personally noticed that defeated mayor Marietta Abogado has hired hundreds of job order employees during her incumbency.

“Upon my entry, there should be an inventory of all funds and properties from the current administration. This includes all government own vehicles and heavy equipment purchased by the local government,” he said.
He said he would prioritize the personnel accounting and to end the contract with those in the government services who already ended their contract.
“Dili sab puwede nga dili kini tan-awon og susihon tungod kay dunay report nga mi-abot kanato nga daghan ang gi-hire as JO at the start of the campaign period. Daghan ra ba kini sila nga dili makita sa serbisyo,” he pointed out.
Quina cited the hiring of more employees and JOs has been considered as unprecedented in the history of the local government of Balingasag.
“Kadtong mi-expire na dili na gyud ma-renew,” he said.
