The Consumer Welfare Desk is a program of DTI which provides easy access for consumers to air their complaints. On the other hand, the Bagwis Award program was initiated to recognize business establishments that are compliant with the laws implemented by DTI and other government agencies. Three (3) big establishments participated during the briefing: Emcor, Inc., Des Marketing, Inc and Gaisano. These establishments are considered as new local economic players in the island province, most especially that Gaisano was just opened recently. (PR)
