Iligan City — The mayor took off for Manila again on Tuesday for some official business to attend there.
This was a day after attendance at the flag raising ceremony at the city hall grounds at Buhanginan Hills, Monday.
The mayor was profuse in his welcome, in his speech especially to newcomers lawyer Providencio Abragan, Jr. and Michelle Sweet of the Sangguniang Panlungsod even as he mentioned in jest that after his term, he was ready to vie for the position of the representative of the lone district in the city.
The mayor also said in his speech before he left, that he is attending a meeting with the other mayors in the country which is to be conducted by the Department of Interior and Local Government.
To recall, Regencia also took off for Manila for several days, shortly after the oath taking together with the candidates who won under his ticket, on June 30. That was in connection with the cases against him before the Sandiganbayan.
