Road to Miss Teen Philippines

Three gorgeous young teens were chosen to represent Northern Mindanao in Miss Teen Philippines 2019 last March 10 at the event center of SM CDO Downtown Premier with two Kagay-anons and one from Valencia city will be vying for the coveted crown.

Loud chants and horns from the candidate’s supporters echoed throughout the mall can be heard as one by one they came out and walked with confidence in the hopes to be this year’s Miss Teen Philippines.

However, the road leading up to its conclusion wasn’t easy for the each lady had to go through against fifteen other hopefuls last March 3 at SM City Uptown CDO.

Each candidate had an advocacy that they shared during its presentation of candidates advocating for education, tourism, environmental protection reproductive health and women’s rights and empowerment.

NORMIN’S BETS

For the three lovely ladies, Francince Gamboa of Valencia city, Nikki de Moura and Kamyll Pla of Cagayan de Oro city it’s a beginning of a new chapter in their lives as they will face other candidates from other region leading up to the coronation night on April 13 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Taguig, Metro Manila.

During the regional search Kia Cañete, who represented Misamis Oriental, also won the Best in Short Formal Attire.

The short formal attire were designed by this city’s talented designers under Oro Fashion Designer’s Guild.

Apart from being chosen as one of Northern Mindanao’s representative Gamboa and De Moura also received special awards. Gamboa took home Miss League Magazine. Meanwhile, De Moura bagged the Miss Photogenic.

Miss Teen Philippines would receive P300,000 worth of cash price, 1st runner-up would receive P200,000 and Miss Teen Philippines Luzon Visayas and Mindanao will each get P100,000.
