Iligan City – Text message and calls to Robinsons Land Corporation and an email were left unanswered by said company whether its scheduled opening this month would push through this June 29.

Earlier, before the Marawi seige, Danilo Camat, Regional Operations Manager for Mindanao said that they would open on June 29.

Camat added that there would be 200 stores at Robinsons, which will be occupied 96%. There will be 6 cinemas and lots of parking space to accomodate 600 cars and 147 motor cycles. Also, there will be a hotel with 96 rooms but this will be ready in 6 months yet.

However, due to recent developments and status of Iligan city and Marawi city it is still unclear whether the set lauching day would push through.
